“Virtual Lab” is a visual and interactive room on Internet. Thanks to this laboratory, students can do their own chemistry, physics, mathematics, biology experiments, and get the results of visual experiments vividly without requiring the use of chemicals or actual tools.
On 15th December 2017 there was a signing ceremony between University of Science and Technology of Hanoi - USTH (Vietnam France University) with Vietnam Airlines to launch the Bachelor program in Aeronautics and the Master program in International Air Transport Operations Management.
On the morning of November 7, 2017, Mr. Dongwha Kum, President of the Vietnam – Korea Institute of Science and Technology (VKIST), together with a delegation of experts, paid a working visit to the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST). Academic and Dr. Chau Van Minh, VAST President, and leaders of the International Cooperation Department, Institute of Materials Science and Institute of Biotechnology, welcomed the delegation.
APRSAF-24 with the theme “Space Technology for Enhanced Governance and Development" was co-organized from 14th to 17th November 2017 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in Bengaluru, India. Representing Vietnam National Space Center (VNSC)_Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), Mr. Vu Viet Phuong_Deputy Director General of VNSC and Mr. Lam Dao Nguyen_Director of Southern Satellite Technology Application Center attended the APRSAF-24.
On October 26-27, 2017, at Tra Vinh University, a workshop on “Application of technological processes and bio-active products for shrimp farming and organic production” was organized by the Department of Application and Development of Technology under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, in collaboration with Tra Vinh provincial Department of Science and Technology and Tra Vinh University.
On October 30, 1977, a delegation from the Lockheed Martin Company led by Mr. Craig McGilvray, Asia Pacific Sales Director for Commercial Satellite, and Dave Jensen, Regional Director of Southeast Asia, paid a working visit to the Institute of Space Technology, with the purpose of introducing Lockheed Martin Global's most advanced space technologies, and to discuss the prospects for cooperation in future space-related projects, such as the VNREDSat-2 project, in Vietnam. At the meeting were leaders of the Institute of Space Technology, Dr. TS. Bui Trong Tuyen, the Institute President; Dr. Pham Minh Tuan, the Institute Vice President; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Minh Chung, Chairman of the Scientific Council.
